let’s talk about goals in the gym
making friends through lifting has been such an amazing thing. I love all of the girls I’ve connected with and couldn’t be happier <333
with that though, I just want to remind you that your goals in the gym do not have to be the same as those around you. many people have goals to look a certain way, or lift a certain amount of weight. but I’m here to tell you if you just workout because it makes you feel good physically & mentally that is AMAZING
I don’t have any goals when it comes to working out, I just love the way it makes me feel. you don’t have to always be working towards something, you can do something simply because it makes you feel good!
if you are like me, working out has helped my mental health so much & I know that if I were to put pressure on myself to reach a goal it would do more harm than good to my mind. finding friends with similar interests as you is a beautiful thing, but remember to always take care of yourself and do what is best for YOU always
